Lately, it feels like everywhere we look, there’s something new to stress about. The world seems increasingly unstable, and it’s hard to pull our attention—or our emotions—away from the chaos. Personally, I’ve felt overwhelmed. I’m scared, angry, frustrated, sad… and, often, helpless to change anything.
These tariffs threaten to devastate my business, and so many others. We’re watching people be deported without due process to detention camps. Our nation’s leadership is steadily undermining personal freedoms, destabilizing global security, and widening the divisions between us more than ever before.
These are dark times in American history.
But I’m not here to bring you down. If you’re paying attention, you already know all this. You’re probably reading because you’re looking for something different—maybe even something hopeful.
For me, that hope has always come from nature. I’m continually inspired by how it carries on, no matter what chaos surrounds it. It simply has a will to be. A year or so ago, we built a small home about an hour outside Atlanta. My horse was already up here, and we wanted a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We ended up purchasing land with some friends and built what we lovingly call our “treehouse”—because, well, we’re literally surrounded by trees. I know…that may be the most creative name I’ve ever come up with.
The land is crisscrossed with old logging trails that we’ve been reclaiming—turning them into hiking and riding paths. The potential is endless, and we’re constantly outside, working, creating, and connecting while dodging snakes and yellowjacket nests. Nature really doesn’t f*ck around.
Spending time outdoors, staying connected to the earth, and tuning in to the natural rhythms of life has become a grounding force for me. It reminds me of my place in the world—small, but significant.

In a world that glorifies big personalities and bold moves, nature humbles us. We might cut down her branches, but she doesn’t protest—she simply breaks them down and uses them to nourish something new. And just like in nature, nothing meaningful grows without care. Seeds require soil, water, and nurturing to flourish.
We are not separate from nature. We are nature. When we connect with the natural world, we connect with our truest selves. And when we harm nature, we harm ourselves.

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re connected to the world of horses. And horses, by their very nature, immerse us in the natural world. Horse people are tuned in to nature in a way most others aren’t. We understand the impact of droughts, floods, wild temperature swings, bitter cold (have I mentioned how much I really hate being cold lately?), and blistering heat. We also recognize the simple joy of a perfect spring day.
And then, there’s the magic of our horses. These powerful, intuitive beings invite us into their world. They’re not concerned with headlines or hashtags—their world is their herd, their pasture, the changing grass, the weather, the possibility of a spontaneous bucking-and-farting celebration. They show us how to be present, how to let go of the noise in our heads, and how to connect with what truly matters.
So, when I started working on a design for this spring, nature kept calling—more like pounding on the door—and I realized it was time to pay tribute. This new design honors nature’s beauty, strength, and grounding energy. It features some of my favorite things: squirrels, mushrooms, water, leaves… and of course, horses.
I hope this collection serves as a gentle reminder to slow down, reconnect with the earth, and find peace when you need it most.
As a small business located in the USA, I am also harshly impacted by the Tariffs war going on.
Highly supportive of other female entrepreneurs and small businesses, I just ordered the cute iPhone case you have designed. I am a big fan of your creative style that is very unique!
I love it! Please, do never give up on your dreams. You’re talented!
